LJ Star Secures Exclusive Distribution Rights for Goetze Hygienic Safety Relief Valves in Pharmaceutical and Food-Beverage Markets

Twinsburg, Ohio – March 11, 2025 – LJ Star (www.ljstar.com), a global manufacturer and supplier of sight glasses, sight flow indicators and other process optimization equipment, today announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Goetze Valves NA for hygienic safety relief valves in the pharmaceutical and food-beverage markets. Goetze KG Armaturen, the parent company of the Goetze North American subsidiary, is a globally recognized leader in safety relief valves. This agreement brings the advanced technology of safety relief valves to LJ Star’s comprehensive portfolio of process optimization solutions.

The partnership incorporates the wide range of Goetze sanitary and hygienic valves. Key product lines are Series 4000, specifically designed for pharmaceutical applications and is ASME approved. These products will be sold under both LJ Star and Goetze names.

The Series 4000 safety valve, engineered specifically for pharmaceutical and hygienic applications, features innovative cone-shaped diaphragm technology that separates the wetted areas and the spring chamber, allowing for a quick change-out of seals without recertification. Available in sizes from DN 25 to DN 100 (1” – 4”), valves in this series are easy to clean, to help pharmaceutical facilities maintain hygienic standards and confidently switch from one batch to another with ease.
