A METAGLAS fused sight glass has excellent corrosion resistance. A lab tested three sight glasses in an acid bath: a borosilicate METAGLAS sight glass (labeled BORO), a soda lime sight glass (labeled B270), and a competitor sight glass (labeled BORO Plus).
